Freshers week consists of several social activities held for new students at the beginning of the academic year.
The aim of the week is to welcome all new students and assist with the settling-in process.

Saturday, 23th of September 2023 – City Centre Trip
Time: 11:00am – 4:00pm
Meet-up point: Atrium, RCSI Bahrain
Fee: BD1 paid to Student Services
Join us for a fun-filled day out at City Centre Mall, Bahrain’s largest shopping, leisure, and entertainment destination. With over 340 stores, 60 dining outlets, and a variety of attractions, there’s something for everyone at City Centre Mall.
- Do some grocery shopping at Carrefour, the Kingdom’s largest hypermarket.
- Browse the latest fashions at various retail stores.
- Visit the furniture shops if you’re still looking for items to set up your new accommodation.
- See the latest movies at Vox Cinemas.
- Enjoy a delicious meal at one of the many restaurants, cafes, and food courts.
The bus will depart from the atrium at 10:00 AM and return at 6:00 PM. Participants are asked to bring their student ID.

Sunday, 24th of September 2023 – Charades
Time: 4:00pm
Location: Atrium/The Hub, RCSI Bahrain
Fee: Free!
Join us for Charades Night, the game where your acting skills, knowledge of music and movies, and storytelling abilities will be put to the ultimate test!
This is a great opportunity to meet new people, make friends, and have some fun. So come on down and show us what you’ve got!
