The RCSI Bahrain Student Council aims to maintain and promote the educational, social and general welfare of students. Student Council members engage with students to address their concerns and facilitate communication between students and staff. Involvement in the Student Council provides a structured opportunity to assume responsibility and to influence decision-making. All RCSI Bahrain students are awarded voting rights in the election of officers.
Elected annually, the Student Council Executives includes:
- President
- Vice President
- Medicine Academic Officer
- Nursing Academic Officer
Once elected, the Executives will in turn appoint the following Officers:
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Clubs and Societies Officer
- Campus Event Officer
- Internal Representative Officer
- Careers Officer
- Information and Technology Officer
Elections are held in April each year and the newly elected team takes office in July.
The Student Council Team also includes two Class Representatives for each academic year. These representatives are elected by you and will take up any issues you raise with them to the relevant Student Council Representative.
